Book-it Right Accountancy is a multi service accounting firm providing services to clients nationwide. We are looking for 6 experienced tax Preparers and reviewers with strong accounting background. 2 Senior Tax Accountants, 2EAs and 2 CPAs with multi-client experience who can perform the duties below for multiple clients without needing any training for our Atlanta and Miami locations:
Senior Tax Accountant
The Senior Tax Accountants duties are as follows:
(Accounting or Taxation degree required)

Prepare and Review hundreds of individual, corporate, partnership & nonprofit tax returns

In charge of amended returns, tax planning, quarterly estimates & year-end projections
-
Maintain clients’ books in QuickBooks and reconcile tax to book income adjustment
-
Post daily sales, sales tax and AR journal entries in QB for multiple clients
-
Reconcile all cash and credit card receipts in the bank with the POS reports
-
Process AP, AR, bank reconciliations and inventory posting for multiple locations.

Reconcile vendor statement and pay vendor invoices as per clients’ approval
-
Process multi state payroll, manage quarter and year end payroll tax filings
-
Calculate sales tax payable, file and submit payment as per client’s approval
-
Prepare and distribute 1099s to vendors according to IRS regulations
CPA
The CPA duties are as follows:
(Certified Public Accountant - CPA Required)

In charge of multiple client's books from daily bookkeeping to yearly tax preparation

Prepare multi state returns for individuals and businesses from various industries
-
Manage all aspects of Tax Planning and recommend tax saving strategies to clients

Audit all returns and respond to State and IRS tax notices on behalf of the clients
-
Oversee a team of bookkeepers to ensure the clients always get accurate reports

Manage all aspects of AP, AR, inventory, and the daily bookkeeping activities
-
Manage workers comp, payroll tax, tips payable, sales tax reporting & payment
-
Manage and reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Create weekly analytic reports and reporting packages for multiple clients .

Serve as primary contact for the client and have monthly meetings with clients
-
Mentor and coach business owners and managers on how to increase profits

Provide cross-training to all Book-It Right staff for better client delivery process

Create budget, cash flow projections, reporting packages and financial analysis
-
Create weekly analytics report with COGS & labor cost variance against budget
-
Direct all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and inventory
-
Manage and reconcile all income, expense, assets, liability and equity accounts
-
Lead the month-end close and ensure all journal entries comply with GAAP
-
Create P&L and balance sheet analysis comparing actual to budget and PY
-
Issue monthly financial statements & investor’s reports to the CEOs and Owners.
Enrolled Agents
The EA duties are as follows:
(Enrolled Agents - CPA or EA Required)

Responsible for all tax matters nationwide and federal for all the clients' entities

Advise clients on all tax laws and how they affect their entities' daily operations
-
Represent clients to the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities
-
Conduct tax training on all IRS business related forms including 1120,1065 &1040
-
Prepare sales and use tax returns, 940, 941 and all other business related forms
-
Prepare year round tax planning, complex multi-state business and individual tax.

Set up accounting systems for new companies & existing clients to QuickBooks
-
Assist with all bookkeeping, accounting and analytical functions for all the clients
-
Accounting and bookkeeping experience is a must, CPA or EA license is a must
